Henke Sass Wolf GmbH (“HSW”) acquires Z\u00fcnd Pr\u00e4zisionsoptik AG and its subsidiary Optivac AG (“Z\u00fcnd Pr\u00e4zisionsoptik AG”), the leading manufacturer of optical components in the micro-optics sector. The Z\u00fcnd Group is a leading global competence center for sophisticated <\/strong>plano optics and coatings of the highest quality. Customers from all over the world and from a wide range of industries are served from the modern production site in Switzerland.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In January 2020, the multi-family office Verium took over a majority stake in the Z\u00fcnd Group as part of a succession solution. In its more than 50-year history, the Z\u00fcnd Group has successfully established itself as the market leader for compact and micro prisms and has earned a first-class reputation, particularly in the medical technology sector.<\/p>\n

HSW’s acquisition of Z\u00fcnd Group creates a strong partnership – the combined expertise and resources will enable the company to continue to differentiate itself through top quality, a strong customer focus and technological expertise. The management as well
\nas the more than 60 employees of the Z\u00fcnd Group will all remain on board. This continuity ensures a smooth transition as well as the preservation and further expansion of the proven unique selling points and many years of experience.<\/p>\n
